Since the beginning of this year, the low altitude economy has continued to 'emerge'. Fly to the airport, take an air taxi across the Yangtze River, use a drone to deliver water to the Great Wall As a typical representative of new quality productivity, the low altitude economy has begun to integrate into people's daily lives under the dual promotion of policy guidance and technological innovation. Zhejiang Securities Research Institute believes that the low altitude economy is in the stage of accelerated landing, and the trillion dollar market is expected to gradually arrive.

According to data from Qichacha, there are 71300 low altitude economy related enterprises in China, and the annual registration volume of related enterprises has fluctuated in the past decade, showing an overall growth trend. In 2023, there were 9000 registered related enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 37.17%. As of now, 5300 have been registered this year. From a regional perspective, only Guangdong has a stock of over 10000, with 11177 related enterprises, firmly ranking first in the country. Shandong and Jiangsu currently have 5599 and 3686 respectively, ranking among the top three in the country. Afterwards, Anhui, Shaanxi, Hebei and other places followed. Wang Yusheng, a first level researcher at the Marine Equipment Industry Department of the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, introduced that the development of Shandong's low altitude economy industry has a good manufacturing foundation, involving raw materials, components, complete machines, integrated applications, flight services, pilot training, testing and inspection, flight platforms and other fields, with nearly a hundred related enterprises and institutions. From 2023 to 2024, the low altitude economy has been repeatedly mentioned in important national conferences and government work reports, and related policy dividends continue to be released. In order to seize the significant opportunity of developing the low altitude economy, Shandong will combine its actual industrial development and distinctive advantages to promote industry university research cooperation throughout the entire industry chain, and create a low altitude economic system with Shandong characteristics in the next step.
